Return to your body as a trusted place to live.

What is Soma Yoga?

Soma Yoga is a gentle, empowering, somatic approach to movement and awareness that prioritizes how you feel — not how you perform.

It blends subtle somatic practices, mindful yoga postures, meditation, and rest to support the nervous system, deepen self-connection, and encourage well-being from the inside out. Our approach is grounded in the belief that the body holds deep wisdom — and that through slowing down, listening, and moving with care, we can access that wisdom and restore balance.

“The yoga and meditation practices were really important for me, as they grounded me more in my body... This was a welcome extended return to my body in a very safe environment.” – C.C.

Soma Yoga is:

  • Beginner-friendly and non-competitive

  • Trauma-sensitive and nervous-system aware

  • Adaptable to different life phases, energy levels, and body types

  • Rooted in curiosity, compassion, and self-trust

Rather than pushing or performing, Soma Yoga invites you to pause, soften, and sense. We explore how to be in relationship with our bodies — noticing sensation, breath, movement, and stillness — so that we can better regulate stress, release chronic tension, and live with more ease.

“I found the entire experience peaceful, not pressured in any way... It allowed for expanding my engagement in yoga practice.” – E.H.

Whether you're looking for physical relief, emotional grounding, or a more compassionate relationship with yourself, Soma Yoga offers a path of presence and permission — a return to your body as a trusted place to live.

"Unwind habitual tension. Reclaim fluid, intuitive movement.
Come home to your body."

Who is Soma Yoga For?

Soma Yoga is for anyone seeking a gentler, more compassionate way to move, rest, and reconnect with themselves.

This practice is especially supportive for people who:

  • Are experiencing stress, burnout, or overwhelm

  • Are navigating chronic tension, fatigue, or pain

  • Feel disconnected from their bodies or want to rebuild body trust

  • Are moving through transitions like aging, illness, loss, or recovery

  • Want to slow down and listen inward

  • Have felt out of place or unseen in traditional yoga spaces

  • Value presence, process, and personal empowerment over performance

“The entire experience felt peaceful, welcoming, and not pressured in any way.” – E.H.

Soma Yoga is accessible for beginners and meaningful for longtime practitioners. You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or even particularly energized — just open to discovering what your body has to say.

This work is for anyone ready to slow down, soften, and reconnect — in a space that honors individuality and supports you exactly as you are.
